CAMEC/COPPER RESOURCES CORPORATION Metorex refers to the announcement made by Copper Resources Corporation (`CRC`) on 10 December 2008 confirming that it had disenfranchised Central African Mining & Exploration Company plc (`CAMEC`) as a consequence of CAMEC`s failure to comply with the provisions of Article 56A of CRC`s articles of association (`Articles`) and extend a mandatory offer to CRC shareholders. Metorex has sought legal advice on its position as a member of CRC and based on this advice Metorex has commenced legal proceedings against CAMEC for breach of the Articles in the amount of GBP86.3 million.
